Endurance is a Stat
Endurance
Name Endurance
Alias END

Capacity to take damage before losing function.

Description[]

Endurance determines a character's capacity to withstand damage.

A character's Endurance stat determines the amount of punishment that they can weather in combat.

When a character's Endurance level reaches 0 or a negative value, the character is knocked unconscious. The 'Uncon' combat flag is then applied, and that character is unable to attack, pilot vehicles , or retreat - and all other actions that would necessitate cognizance, comprehension, use of one's motor functions, and not being dead.

Characters with the Repair, Heal , and Construction abilities can effect Endurance levels by reviving, restoring, and patching up damage caused to players and objects.

Courage and Endurance are utilized in determining a character's COU/END value.

Massive Damage[]

Massive Damage is a message that shows up sometimes in combat. It simply means that the target has taken 50% or more of its Endurance in one blow. The target should pose taking grievous damage. Taking 50% or more of one's Endurance in one blow is no trifling matter. It's not something to just shrug off and "no sell".

Recovery[]

In addition to any stat damage, recovery times are listed below depending on how much damage you received.

  • >10% damage - Remain out of combat for the next day
  • >50% damage - Remain out of combat for the next 2 days
  • 100%+ damage - Remain out of combat for the next 3 days

Stat Damage[]

It works in intervals. You'll take damage to the other four combat stats when you pass 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of your total Endurance. The only way to heal it is to be IC and active. DO NOT IDLE IC TO HEAL STAT DAMAGE. This is twinking. Your stats will not even begin to heal until your Endurance is restored to its full value.
