Nightmare is the newest Insecticon, an ancient personality core retrieved and rehoused by Hook, in his quest to create the perfect Decepticon. Little is yet known of her, as she has not seen much field exposure. In robot mode she resembles Death from Earth mythology, a dark, cowled, silent woman who wields a laser-scythe. She is nimble and agile, but has so far demonstrated little offensive capability. In her insect mode, a black widow, she often rides on the exterior of other Decepticons and often goes unnoticed throughout entire exchanges.
