Summary[]
Taking advantage of the yearly Monacus Olympics, the Quintessons launched an all-out attack on Cybertron and cut off all external communication. Through the use of some unpronounceable deux ex machina, they FLOODED Cybertron in order to give a significant advantage to their sharkticon troops and their newest enforcers...The Seacons. Both factions got shot down during their return trip to Cybertron with the Autobots crashing into an unflooded part of the Istoral chasm and the Decepticons crashing into the warrens. What followed what a guerrilla war to reclaim the planet and expel the new landlords.
Plot[]
The main secret of this TP was the return of the Seacons which had been sent into exile or some very very far away mission and forgotten. The Seacons sought revenge for being cast out (because some say they sucked and were never played) and were offered power and a chance at revenge by the Quintesson if they helped. Their alt-modes made them the ideal choice as Sharkticon commanders except maybe for Nautilator because he's an idiot and cannot swim very well.
After being shot down both factions retreated in their makeshift base and began plotting and scavenging in hope of getting back their planet.
Notes[]
This TP had lots of potential but was plagued with a series of small bugs, delays, miscommunication, you name it. Still many people managed to enjoy it.
- Most of the Autobot high command was absent leaving Jazz in charge of day-to-day stuff but OOCly unable to approve anything.
- The MUSH suffered a crash for nearly a week which led to a temporary exile to the Curling MUSH.
- This was the first time the Seacons officially sided with the Quintessons
- To my knowledge this is the first and only time Defensor KILLED someone. First Aid still has nightmares about this while Blades has sweet sweet dreams of Piranacon exploding and dying from Defensor's Fireball Cannon.
