A seasoned veteran of war, he demands excellence from himself and those around him. Recoil does not hesitate to confront those he has issues with, regardless of rank or position. A master at manipulating fire and pyrotechnics, he can come into a trance-like state from staring at the flame from a simple lighter. Breathes fire and wields a Power Axe in robot mode; possesses twin pulse-compression cannons as an F-15. Armor is resistant to fire or energy-based weapons up to 3000 degrees C, but more vulnerable to projectile-attacks. Recoil is perilously afraid of large bodies of water so he tries to stay on Cybertron as much as possible.
